THE CALL

Paul Loren is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN who loves the classic American songbook and infused his earlier work with elements of 60s R&B. With his album project, Betwixt, Loren introduced more brutal honesty into his work. When it came time for him to make a music video for ‘Marlena,’ a song on the album, Loren and his team had big ideas. Imagine sweeping shots alongside a desert road and the epic quest to find a love lost. One thing we pride ourselves on at Pinpoint is taking an idea and pushing it to the next level and we were thrilled to do so with Paul Loren.

OUR RESPONSE

We made our way to a remote location near Joshua Tree, CA and brought the desert oasis to life through the efforts of a dedicated 20-person crew. As you can imagine, the sweltering heat was the most challenging member of our team, but we made sure everyone was safe and hydrated (with 100+ gallons of water). With that in check, Pinpoint oversaw every aspect of the production from talent and contract negotiations, budget management, and deep collaboration with the creative teams to take the vision from their storyboards and translate it into real life. We’re pleased to share that ‘Marlena’ now sits at almost 300k views!
