THE CALL

The Junior Achievement of Central Ohio leverages Biztown, USA to show students what life could be like post-graduation. With a day-long visit to a simulated town, students can try their hand at being a radio DJ, bank manager, or even the mayor! After years of involvement, Raising Cane’s Fried Chicken concluded their Biztown sponsorship. That coveted spot was open but it wouldn’t be for long and Google wanted in. The catch? We only had 2 weeks to completely reimagine, design, and produce an original storefront.

OUR RESPONSE

First things first! We needed to visually reset the space so we hired a local team to gut the room and paint the space white. As that took place, we drifted off to La La Land to dream up a show stopping space for students to interact with. We knew we’d include the iconic Google vibes people have come to know, but we also wanted something bright, modern, and airy. In collaboration with Biztown, we defined each role a Junior Achiever could have in conjunction with graphics that displayed a world of Google outside each window, bookshelves filled with books in branded colors, and other fun keepsakes. Did we break into a few sweats with such a tight timeline? Yup! But did we get the job done? You know it.
